Princess of Wales Kate Middleton stepped out for rare solo appearance in London after Buckingham Palace made a big announcement about a state visit.
Kate Middleton presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at a prestigious London event on Tuesday afternoon.
The ceremony took place at London's 180 Studios and was hosted by the British Fashion Council.
Each year, the award is presented to an emerging British fashion designer who demonstrates exceptional talent and originality.
Royal expert Cameron Walker took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared videos of Kate Middleton from the ceremony.
He tweeted, “The Princess of Wales is presenting the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at 180 Studios in London - honouring bold young creatives, championing sustainability, and celebrating the best of British fashion.”
Kate Middleton made her first public appearance after the palace announced a state visit.
Palace announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla will host President of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron at Windsor Castle in July.
The palace announcement reads, “The President of the French Republic, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Mrs Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8th July to Thursday 10th July 2025.”
It further said, “Their Majesties The King and Queen will host the President and Mrs Macron at Windsor Castle.”
