Karachi experienced three more tremors on Tuesday night, ranging from 2.0 to 3.1 magnitude.
This marks the fourth consecutive day of seismic activity, bringing the total number of tremors since June 1 to 26.
The affected areas include Landhi, Quaidabad, Malir, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Cause & Expert Analysis
Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider Laghari attributes the tremors to the activation of the Landhi Fault Line, which is undergoing a normalization phase.
Mild earthquakes may continue for another week as energy is gradually released, reducing the risk of a major earthquake.
The shallow depth of recent quakes is why they are being felt more intensely across the city.

Buildings directly above the fault line should be capable of withstanding tremors up to magnitude 6.
Cracks appearing in homes are likely due to structural integrity issues, not necessarily seismic activity.
Another fault line near Thana Bula Khan is also contributing to the ongoing seismic activity.
