Amber Heard’s Ex-Girlfriend Speaks Out: 'I Believe All of It

Amber Heard has received support from her ex-girlfriend, Bianca Butti, in the Johnny Depp trial.

In 2022, the ex-couple sued each other for defamation, each claiming they were abused during their two-year-long marriage, from 2015 to 2017.

In a settlement of their defamation case, the Aquaman actress agreed to pay $1 million to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, which he pledged to charity.

In a recently published book by Kelly Loudenberg and Makiko Wholey , Hollywood Vampires: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and the Celebrity Exploitation Machine, Butti admitted that she did believe in Heard’s claim against Depp.

“It almost sounded like someone else was talking,” the cinematographer began. “By the time you tell it a million times you remove yourself from emotional content.”

Referring to Heard’s claim, Butti continued, “I believe all of it. Especially as someone who was her intimate partner. If I made a sudden move during an argument, she would recoil. It was clear to me that she was in a very violent relationship.”

Noting that the former couple had “dynamic [that] didn’t allow them to express themselves in a proper way.”

Before concluding, she shared, “She had nowhere to put everything. She didn’t know how to cry. She didn’t know how to freak out. She didn’t know how to break down. She just knew how to keep going. She was completely detached. … She was shut down.”

For those unversed, Bianca Butti first romantically linked with Amber Heard in January 2020, after being spotted kissing in Palm Springs. Their relationship lasted for over a year.
